Setting up your account
One account covers everything on Saheli, whether you arrange care, work as a companion, or both.

Signing in
There is no password and no separate sign-up. Your account is created the first time you sign in.
- Select Sign in at the top of any page.
- Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email and we send you a sign-in link.
- Open the link in the email, or type the 6-digit code from the same email.
Sign-in links and codes
A link or code works once, for one hour. If it has expired, ask for a new one. Some email providers open links to check them, which uses them up; the code still works when that happens.
Your first time
Saheli asks whether you want to arrange care for someone or work as a companion. Pick one to start; you can add the other later with the same account.
Your name, phone and address
- Select your name at the top right, then Account settings.
- Fill in your details and select Save details.
- Your email cannot be changed here, because it is how you sign in.
- A photo is optional.
- Arranging care: your address is optional.
- Companions: your address is required, and this is where you keep your phone and address up to date.
Choosing your emails
In Account settings, open Notifications and switch each kind of email on or off: bookings, visits, messages, payments, account, reviews and announcements. Everything still shows in the app under the bell.
News and offers
Saheli news and offers stay off unless you turn them on. Every Saheli email also has a link back to these settings.
If something is not working
- No email arrived: check your spam folder, then ask for another one.
- Your postal code is not accepted: check for typing mistakes, such as the letter O instead of the number 0.
